I was born in Africa and spend most of my time here. This amazing continent is bursting with life, and I try to offer a glimpse of that through my work.

The wilderness areas I visit are under increasing pressure from human-wildlife conflict, poaching and resource extraction. All who love these areas must also put back to ensure their survival, and 10% of the proceeds from the sale of my work goes to WildAid. In a world used to ever more spectacular imagery and instant gratification, some photographers have been known to give in to the temptation to treat their subject matter as a commodity, with little care for the wildlife or environments they photograph. 

Every single one of the animals I have photographed here is completely wild. None of them are baited, collared, confined or trained, and all of them are in their natural habitats. I've taken care to respect their comfort zones, avoid stressing them and, as far as possible, capture their natural behaviour when I've encountered them.
